Amethyst is the most valued member of the quartz family.  Its colour is purple but shades run from deep purple to lilac, lavender and mauve.  This rosary is made with amethyst Ave beads and Bali style pewter for the Pater beads. Swarovski crystals and silver beads have been used as spacers and it is finished with a sterling silver Celtic cross
