Olive wood has been considered sacred by a variety of cultures dating back to pre-biblical times. It is native to the Holy Land. It is exceptionally hard and thus beads carved from this wood will not only last a long time, but with age they will become richer in tone and even more personal. The cross, as well as the beads, are made from this special wood. Carved bone Pater beads are also used in the making of this rosary.

We create our wooden rosaries using many different sorts of wood.

We will always have a wooden rosary available made from olive wood which will also include a cross made in the holy land from this special material.

 

From time to time a wood rosary will appear made from different types of wood, for instance Bayong or Palm wood.

 

Please check back occasionally to see which new wooden rosaries have been created.
