Coral has
been used as
a gem since
prehistoric
times. It
is
essentially
the outer
skeleton of
sea polyps,
made of
calcium
carbonate.
Coral
usually
ranges from
white to red
and it grows
in branches
that look
like
underwater
trees. These
corals are
used as the
beads in
this rosary
while silver
twists make
up the Pater
beads.
Finished
with a
sterling
silver
Celtic
crucifix, it
is one of
our more
special
rosaries. |
